Cuthbert House Inn

Having stayed at the Cuthbert for the third time now, I can say without a doubt that this is an absolute must visit. The Cuthbert is beautifully well kept, the staff is extraordinarily helpful and kind, and the rooms are fantastic. The location is perfect, as it allows access to downtown within walking distance. The views are one of a kind, with the Spanish moss trees in the front yard. If you’re looking for a low country experience that can’t be beat, this is where I would stay. Make sure that you attend the social hour, there are always friendly faces and great company. The breakfast provided is a fantastic way to start the day. I could talk all day about how great the Cuthbert is, but I think that more people should experience it for themselves. Cannot wait for our next getaway. Thank y’all for being awesome! My husband and I stayed at the Cuthbert House Inn to celebrate our 40th anniversary, with a thoughtful card and champagne on arrival. Everything was truly lovely! The pre-arrival communication was exceptional by Yvette. Robert checked us in and gave a complete orientation to our beautiful Federal Suite. The wine hour each evening was relaxing, enjoying gorgeous views from the front porch. Breakfasts were delicious with a nice variety of choices! We live nearby in Charleston and plan to return and also recommend to friends and family to visit as well!

Stayed at the Cuthbert House Inn for my son’s wedding! It was a wonderful experience! The setting is beautiful, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful! My dealings were mostly with Caroline and Robert…omg, they felt more like dear friends or family than staff!!! Love them! The Inn is clean as well as convenient for parking or walking to the waterfront area for dining and shopping. This was my first time staying at the Cuthbert Inn, but I hope it won’t be my last; I am a fan!!!

My extended family and I stayed at the Inn this past weekend and had the most wonderful time! The service was terrific: thoughtful touches, delicious breakfast as well as afternoon snacks and drinks. The building is historic and beautifully renovated. We throughly enjoyed talking to the staff about its history. Ideal location with beautiful views and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Beaufort!

Cuthbert House is a hidden gem! Time spent at the Cuthbert House is a pleasure. The house itself is historical, charming and well-maintained. Our bedroom was well-appointed and comfortable. If I recall there was carpentry issue being addressed. .The common area was more than comfortable for chatting, or relaxing. Other guests were friendly, always a bonus. Breakfasts were homemade, casual and delicious. Chris and Suzanne Ram are wonderful hosts. They joined us for the "happy hour!" The Cuthbert House location is superior. It is close to the water, and central to many sites, activities and restaurants in the Beaufort area. We were so glad we decided to stay at the Cuthbert House.

There are not enough complimentary words to describe our wonderful weekend at the amazing Cuthbert House. The inn itself is so beautiful and comfortable and has a rich Southern history. The food and treats were delicious and plentiful. And the staff is exemplary. Robert and Christy were our concierge team and they took particularly good care of us. By the end of our stay, we could count them as friends! The inn owners, Suzanne and Chris, joined us for happy hour often and are delightful. They have created the perfect atmosphere to enjoy Beaufort and to make all their guests plan to return for another stay.

My wife and I just returned from another wonderful stay at the Cuthbert house while visiting the Low Country. Married in this beautiful B&B 30 years ago, we have returned often over the years. The hosts and owners of the Inn, Suzanne and Chris, are incredible stewards of this historical property. Very involved and impressively detailed oriented, the place has never looked better, and we have enjoyed getting to know Suzanne and Chris over our last visits. In addition to Suzanne and Chris, The entire staff at the Cuthbert House made us feel like we were home again. Service & Atmosphere - Exceptional Staff: The entire staff was kind, accommodating, and provided exceptional service from start to finish. - Thoughtful Touches: For our anniversary, the Inn included a bottle of celebratory wine along with the charcuterie board we had ordered. - Relaxing Privacy: Despite other guests, it felt as though we had the entire home to ourselves. Location & Amenities - Picturesque Views: Our room offered a peaceful view of the marsh and river, especially beautiful at sunset. - Ideal Proximity: The Inn is close to downtown with plenty of dining and drinking options nearby.
